Dylan Taylor Brean, age 21, of Wichita, Wichita Area Technical College student, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Visitation 1-8 PM Monday, March 28, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 2 PM Tuesday, March 29, Crossway Church, 421 N. Westview, Derby. Dylan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert & Angela Brean and Darlene Newkirk; and his great-grandfather, Wally Boom. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Robert & Roxie Brean; mother and stepfather, Veronica & Todd Mead, all of Derby; brother, Chase Mead, of Derby; sisters, Madison Mead and Hannah Brean, both of Derby; grandparents, Robert Newkirk, of Wichita, Jane Wiederman, of Grand Canyon, AZ, Warren Bates, Jr., Galway, NY, Harold Chew, of Wichita, and Mike & Judy Mead, of Green Valley, AZ; great-grandmother, Mary Boom, of Goddard; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his Crossway Church family.
