Doyle T. Burress

Eufaula, Alabama – Burress, Doyle T., age 75, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011. Visitation 10-4pm Monday at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, KS. Graveside service 11am Tuesday at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery, Winfield, KS. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Edith Burress; step-mother, Tillie Burress; brothers, Clifford (Joanne) and Arnold (Sheila) Burress. He is survived by his wife Chloe Burress; children, Doylene (Bill) Elston, Richard (Sheila) Burress and Julie (Jim) Sindelar; grandchildren, Christy (Michael) Tucker, Kristie (Matt Norris) Elston, Joshua Bailey, Amy Ivy, Stacy Ivy, Zachary Elston and Cody (Chanelle Smith) Elston; 4 great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Imogene Vann, Argil (Kathy) Burress, Joan (Teddy) Cook, June Sharpe, Jimmy Burress and Janet (Roy) Chambers; numerous nieces and nephews.
