Hockett, Douglas Alan, 64, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Thursday, August 1st with family present 4-6 p.m. at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca Wichita. Funeral 10 A.M. Friday, August 2nd at Lincoln Baptist Church, 7801 E Lincoln St, Wichita, where Doug was a member for 33yrs. Doug is preceded in death by his father, Arthur; brother, Elwin “Bud” Hockett. He is survived by his wife, Deloris; sons, Jeremy (Jennifer) Hockett of Wichita, Chad (Tracy) Hockett of Haysville and Chris (Amanda) Hockett of Wichita, grandchildren, James, Heather, Kayle, Lauren, Ellie and Cierra; mother, Velma Hockett of Satanta; sister, Evelyn (Charles) Brownlee; brothers, Dean (Sherry) Hockett and Don Hockett; many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Missions Program at Lincoln Baptist Church.
