Douglas Jay Carie

Douglas Jay Carie, age 69, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015. No visitation. Memorial service 10 AM Saturday, September 19, 2015, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Douglas is preceded in death by his parents, P.T. & Dorothy June Carie; brothers, Dennis and David; and a nephew, Jason Carie. Survivors include his sister, Shirley Breth (Tim), of Wichita; stepson, Rusty Perkins; nieces and nephew, Carie, Andy, Amy, Benjamin, Denise, Renee, Lisa,; 8 great-nieces and great-nephews; 2 great-great-nieces. In lieu of flowers a memorials has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
