DERBY – Thomas, Dorothy, 88, homemaker, died July 1, 2011. Visitation Tuesday 1-8 at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 2 pm Wednesday, July 6 at Crossway Church, 421 N. Westview, Derby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavon J. Thomas; son, Dennis Thomas; and daughter, Vickey Noble. Survivors include her children, Lavon (Doretta) Thomas of Derby, George (Connie) Thomas of Wichita, and Kevin (Kelly) Thomas of Grove, OK; 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Nola Yaw of Rich Hill, MO. Memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society, and American Heart Association.
