Dorothy Anderson

Dorothy Marie Anderson, age 84, of Wichita, retired Drug and Alcohol Counselor, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017. Visitation 1-8 pm Monday, December 11, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, funeral service 2 pm Tuesday, December 12, both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Graveside service 2 pm Wednesday, December 13, Shirley Cemetery, Cherokee County, Oklahoma. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Knon Van and Ruth (Bly) Brown; brothers, Leonard and Norman Brown; and a sister, Lelah Wolfe. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James; son, Douglas Anderson (Maggie Favela), of Haysville; daughters, Marjorie McClintock (Farrell), of Wichita and Laura Anderson, of San Antonio, TX; sister, Marge Bolinger, of Park Hill, OK; grandchildren, Aaron, Melissa, Ian and Mackenzie; great-grandchildren, Tahnae, Renae and Damon.
