Dorothy Lee Hatfield, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on June 22nd. She was born August 15, 1923 in the now abandoned oil town of Magna City, KS. After graduating from Douglass High School, she married Marvin Reheis (deceased) and they raised five children, all graduating from Douglass. Grandma Dot dearly loved her family and always looked forward to holidays and reunions, especially Christmas. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking pies for birthdays and random acts of kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lizzie Frans; daughter, Linda Allen; husband, George; sisters Sybol Hudson and Eva Mae Barnes. She is survived by her sister, Roxie Olmstead; daughter, Sandra (Raymond, deceased) Knoll; sons Gary (Carolyn) Reheis, Roger (Ernie)Reheis and Steve Reheis; son-in-law Ron Allen; grandchildren, Michelle (Kevin) Sitton, Kevin Reheis, Kiffany (Terry) Althouse, Kendra (Thomas) White, Christa (Tony) Keeler, Jason (Sarah) Reheis, and Matthew (Nikki) Reheis. Special thanks to her loving caregiver Marty Waples and Cindy Houser. She was a beautiful, caring lady who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
