Doris B. Moe

Moe, Doris B., age 87, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Derby Health & Rehab. She was born July 6, 1923 in Las Vegas, NV. On January 27, 1945 Doris married Lt. Morris E. Moe, USAAF, in Las Vegas. Visitation Thursday, March 3, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Graveside service 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, Ft. Scott National Cemetery, Ft. Scott, KS with Pastor Ben Ray presiding. Doris is survived by her son, Col. Thomas C. (Joan) Moe of Universal City, TX; daughter, Linda (Richard) Conard of Lenexa, KS; 7 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents & brother. In lieu of flowers memorials have been established with First Presbyterian Church, 324 N. Baltimore, Derby, KS 67037.
