Doris V. Francis, 89, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014. Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday, January 29, 2014, with family present 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary, Derby. Funeral service 10:30am Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn Blvd., Derby with interment to follow at 3pm at Rose Hill Cemetery, Hazelton, KS. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Faye Stout; son, Paul Francis; husband, Dale; brothers, Leslie, William and Ralph Stout. She is survived by her son, Darrell (Debbie) Francis of Derby; daughters, Linda (Daryl) of Wamego, KS and Janet (Roger) Robison of Kiowa, KS; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Brunsteter of Alva, OK, Barbara DeMint of Hazelton, KS and Donna Shroyer of Sterling, KS.
