Derby – Ashley, Doris Mae, retired employee of The Wichita Eagle library, died June 18 at age 82. Born on July 12, 1928 in Wichita, she spent her childhood years at Kechi, KS. She graduated from Valley Center High School, and was a longtime member of the Haysville United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her first husband, Floyd Benjamin; son, David Benjamin; parents, Bill and Bertha Stockdale. Survivors include husband, Keith; son, Gary (Sue) Benjamin of Derby; stepchildren, Phil (Janet) Ashley of Valley Center, KS, Kathy (Lance) Smith of Derby; grandchildren, Briana (Tim) Robinson, Brock Benjamin of Jackson Hole, WY, Aubrey Benjamin of Derby, Kellie (Matt) Walker of Belton, MO and Jason Benjamin of Kansas City, MO; step-grandchildren, Alicia Ashley of Valley Center, Keith (Elizabeth) Ashley of Halstead, KS and Kaleb (Rachel) Ashley of Valley Center; two great granddaughters; six step- great grandsons; siblings, Jerald (Cara) Stockdale of Marion, KS and Shirley (Bob) Merth of Lampe, MO. Memorial service 11am Wednesday, June 22, at Haysville United Methodist Church, 601 E. Grand Ave., Haysville. Memorials may be made to the church or to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S.
