Doran Leon Waugh, 93, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was born July 4, 1924 to Roy and Hazel (Beard) Waugh in Kiowa, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty; daughters, Collette Waugh and Trudy Hady; grandson, Brian Sands; great-great granddaughter, Justina Martindale; 5 brothers; and 1 sister. Doran is survived by his children, Diane (Ted) Davis, Joann (Larry) Wilson, Sue (Jeff) Sands, Chris (Bonnie) Waugh, Colleen Waugh, Kim (Steve) Bruce; sister, Colleen Griffin; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. Memorial Service: 2 pm, Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home, 219 W. 2nd, Belle Plaine, KS 67013. Inurnment to follow at Belle Plaine Cemetery. He will be loved and missed by all.
