Donna Raine

Donna Sue Raine, born November 1, 1940, in Crosses, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026.

Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Nelson Raine; her parents, Melvin and Wanda Wood; and her siblings, Bobby Wood, Tommy Wood, Melvin Wood, and Mary Wood.

She is survived by her sister, Brenda Duerksen (Wood); her daughters, Kimberly Westbrook (Walter) and Tracey Carrell (Paul Fevela); her cherished grandchildren, Meleah Capps (Tyson), Cailen Westbrook, Peyton Westbrook (Tela), Rachel Shaefer (Paul); and her beloved great-grandchildren, Brilee, Westen, Joseph, Tucker, Jacob, and Rory.

Donna enjoyed a fulfilling career with a local gas company and was a proud Owner of the family business, Wichita Marine, where her dedication and hard work helped build a lasting legacy.

She was a devout Christian whose faith guided her life and the way she loved others. Above all, Donna was a loving mother and grandmother who treasured her family deeply. She created lasting memories through unforgettable family vacations and shared her many talents generously. She was a skilled seamstress who could sew or crochet just about anything for those she loved.

Donna will be remembered for her faith, her kindness, her creativity, and her unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on through the generations who were blessed to call her Mom, Grammy, Gram or friend.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Smith Family Mortuary - Derby. Funeral service is 1:00pm Friday, January 30, 2026 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
