Donna Lee Perisho

Perisho, Donna Lee, 86, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014. She was born December 7, 1927 to Russell and Helen (Bannon) Perisho in Augusta, KS. She was a lifelong resident of Butler County. Donna worked as a Register Nurse after graduating from nursing school at the age of 53. She was devoted to caring for people, including her parents as they aged. Donna is survived by her daughters, Elaine (Rodney) Barnycastle of Douglass, KS, Eileen Servaes of Lenexa, KS, and Shirley (Corkey) Cash of Haysville, KS; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Sunday, 1 to 8 pm with family present between 6 and 8 pm at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass. Graveside service: 10:30 am, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Douglass Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Butler Community College Department of Nursing.
