Donald David Williams

Donald D. Williams, 77, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Ascension Via Christi - St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas. He was born February 1, 1944 to Clinton and Mary T. (Suttmoller) Williams in Wichita, Kansas.

In his younger years, he raised homing pigeons and raced them all over the country. He enjoyed the casinos, playing and calling bingo for the church, and was active in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Don retired from Beaver Express trucking company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Larry Williams, his nephew, Jason Rush, and brother-in-law, Earl Brand.

Donald is survived by his sisters: Marilyn Brand and Joyce Rush(David) of Wichita, Kay Gillen(Jerry) of Independence, MO., his brother Dan Williams of Wichita, and many nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday (October 9th) with the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 149 S. Millwood St, Wichita, Kansas. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wichita.
