Donald E. Rogers

Donald E. "Don" Rogers, 76, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026 in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born May 26, 1950 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Raymond Jr. and Leona Gerdsen Rogers. Don attended East High School and graduated in 1969. He proudly served the United States Army, joining in September of 1969. After his time in the Army, he married Karen A. Fuller on February 23, 1974 in Wichita. Don enjoyed spending time with family camping and fishing. He was a mechanic for Sunnyside Nursery, working there until the business closed.

Don is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Wayne; sister, Barbara Shoate.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen; children, Suzanne Martin (Larry), Patrick Rogers; grandchildren, Alyssa Martin, Myles Martin, Alexander Rogers, Arthur Rogers, Noah Rogers, Addison Rogers; great-grandson, Thomas McGee; and by his brother, Michael Rogers.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, September 14, at Culberston-Smith Mortuary.
