Don Richey, 69, died April 20, 2026. Born June 1, 1956 in Concordia, he was the son of Charles Edward and Patricia Ann (Prior) Richey.
He is survived by his mother Patricia Richey, his wife of 43 years Judy, sons Chris and Alex, brother Steven Richey, sisters Virginia (Allen) Wendland, Brenda (Carl) Burgoon, and several nieces and nephews; his beloved cats Gary Girl and Blondie, and longtime family friend and caretaker Lisa Phillips. He was preceded in death by his father Charles “Eddie” Richey.
Visitation 5-7pm Monday, April 27, with funeral services 2pm Tuesday, April 28, all at Smith Family Mortuary Chapel in Derby. A memorial has been established with Tunnel to Towers.
