Donald Frank Alumbaugh

Donald Frank Alumbaugh, 85, of Mulvane, passed away February 1, 2023. He was born in Newton, KS on December 11, 1937. He married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Shoemaker, on May 19, 1957.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, sister, brother, his son Ronald of Texas, and grandson Myles Gilbert of Maize. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Ellen, his children Mike (Wilma) of Mulvane, Mary of Mulvane, Larry (Carmen) of Mulvane, Sherry (Scott) Gilbert of Maize, Diane of Wichita, Melissa (Mike) Rodgers of Kerrville, TX; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services 1:00 pm Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Mulvane United Methodist Church. Memorials are established with the church, and with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in memory of Myles Gilbert.
