Don Eldon Fillmore

Don Eldon Fillmore, 80, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday; funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, both at Belle Plaine United Methodist Church, 124 E. 10th St. From 1954-2012, Don and his wife Darlene owned and operated M&M Grocery Store in Belle Plaine. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Goldstein, and parents Walter and Mabel Fillmore. Survived by wife, Darlene; children Cheryl (Dwayne) DeTurk, Mark (Darise) Fillmore, Jon (Lori) Fillmore; son-in-law Dan Goldstein; grandchildren Ivery, Deborah (Dave), Amy, Nic, Chelsi, Ashley, Andrew, Lindsay (Jordan), Rebekah, Avery, and Hayden; great-grandchildren Ethan, Dylan, Leah, Claire, and Asher; siblings Delbert (Susan) Fillmore and Carolyn Harp; brother-in-law Merle (Sharron) Willey; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Belle Plaine United Methodist Church and Belle Plaine Historical Society, 204 W. 5th St., Belle Plaine, KS 67013.
