Dollie Pearl Sasser, age 78, died Thursday, November 24, 2016. Visitation 1-8 with the family present from 5-7 Monday, November 28, 2016 at Smith Mortuary, Derby. Funeral 10 am Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at South Rock Christian Church, Derby. Burial will be in El Paso Cemetery, Derby, following the service. Dollie was born August 18, 1938 in Evergreen, Alabama. She married Carlton Sasser in 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton and step granddaughter, Jenny DeWater. She is survived by daughters, Judy Sasser and Carla Heinrich of Derby; son, Mike and wife Cindy of Wichita; daughter Karen Slenker and husband Tim of Tennessee; grandsons, Scott Sasser of Leadville, CO, Jordan Sasser, Cale Sasser and wife Jackie of Pueblo West, CO, Justin Collins of Tennessee; great granddaughter Hannah. She also had some very special honorary family members, Janis and Mike Allen, Marilee and Mike Kendall, Megan Kendall and her daughter Madison, Brian Kendall and his daughters, Emma and Sadie, Heather DeWater and children, and Kent Faudel.
