Dianna Lynn Standifer

Dianna Standifer, 72, Haysville, KS, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas.

Dianna was born on July 8, 1953 in Norton, Kansas, the daughter of Harvey and Zelma Eichman Conyac. Dianna, one of eight siblings, was raised in Derby, Kansas. Dianna graduated from Derby High School in 1971.Dianna married Mike Standifer in Derby, KS in 1972. Together they settled in Haysville, KS and had four children, Chris, Anthony, Jeanne and Craig.Dianna and Mike established their business, Standifer's Custom Upholstery in Haysville, KS in 1974. She became primarily a homemaker after their first child, Chris was born in 1975. Chris was born with down syndrome and required special care to which she provided exceptionally well. She kept all household affairs in order and bookkeeping for the business. Later on, when it was time for Chris to start education, she discovered that there were no classes for children with special needs. She helped organize several local families that had children with special needs to open the first classroom for children with special needs. She was an avid bowler, joined many leagues where she made many friends and joined many tournaments that took her all over the country.

Dianna is survived by brother Joe (Claudette) Conyac, of Wichita, KS; sister Adeleen (Don) Keeler, of Derby, KS; brother Adrian Conyac, of Texas; sister-in-Law Judy Conyac, of Derby; son Chris Standifer, of Wichita, KS; son Anthony Standifer, of Wichita, KS and son Craig Standifer, of Haysville, KS.

Dianna was preceded in death by her husband Mike Standifer, daughter Jeanne Standifer Chadd, her parents, Brother Don Conyac; sister Geraldine Edmunds; sister Jane Collier; sister Virgina Kiltau; sister-in-Law Betty Conyac, and brother-in-Law Ray Collier.

Visitation will be at Smith Mortuary in Derby, KS on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be at St. Mary Catholic Church in Derby, Kansas, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Services at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Derby, KS.
