Diane Marie Gillette

Diane Marie (DeBarea) Gillette, passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at her home in Wichita, KS. She was 57 years old. Diane had a zest for life. She loved people and conversation, and never knew a stranger. She liked decorating, arts and crafts, and working in her yard, but her real passion was collecting. Diane never failed to see the beauty in something others considered worn and useless. She truly was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Terry Gillette; sons, Jeremy Gillette and Clinton Gillette, all of Wichita; parents, Frank and Jennie DeBarea of Clearwater; brother, Frank and his wife Peggy DeBarea of Wichita; sister, Linda DeBarea, of Clearwater. Visitation: 2-8pm Thursday, March 3, 2011 with family present from 5-7pm. Service: 2pm Friday, March 4, 2011, all at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita.
