Derek Wayne Collins

Rose Hill, KS Derek Wayne Collins 39, died of MS complications, Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 in Advena Fountain View of Rose Hill, Kansas. He was born July 29th, 1984 to Henry Collins Jr and Ruth Ann (Wallingford) Collins Payne in Winfield, Kansas. Derek attended Winfield High School and employment included Winfield Sonic and Sodexo of Southwestern College.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Henry (Hank) Collins Jr his Grandparents, Wilbur and Martha Wallingford of Atlanta,Ks and Henry Collins Sr and Freddie Graham and Uncles Mark and Robert Wallingford and a Cousin John Collins.

Derek is survived by his Parents, Raymond and Ruth Payne, his Brother, Hank Marcus Collins (Amber).Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, 1 Niece and 6 Nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Cowley County Humane Society.
