Dennis Eugene Sigle

The Reverend Dr. Dennis Sigle, age 72, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021. His wife, Cheryl Sigle, age 70, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021. Memorial services will be held 2 pm Saturday, March 6, at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Both are preceded in death by their great-grandson, Oliver Currie. Dennis is also preceded in death by his parents, James Sigle and Helen Belcher; and his infant brother, David. Cheryl is also preceded in death by her parents, Orvel and Frances Baxter. Survivors include their daughters, Christy Franz (Matthew), Stephanie Slaughter (Mike); grandchildren, Makayla Currie (Ezekiel), Shelby Franz, Jaden Franz Gabriel Sherrell and Brooks Sherrell. Dennis is also survived by his brother, James Sigel (Brenda). Additional survivors of Cheryl are her brothers, Greg Baxter (Becky), Jim Baxter (Judy); sisters, Marilyn Kiess (Larry), Gina Weidner (Fred) and Laurie Botkin (Dave).
