Dennis E. Moon, 74, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014. Visitation Monday 1-8p.m family present 5-7 p.m at Smith Mortuary Derby. Funeral 10 a.m. Tuesday at Glorious Life Church 230 Fernell St, Derby. Dennis was a long standing member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Derby. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lena Moon; wife, Marian; brother, Jimmy P. Moon. Dennis is survived by his children, Roxie (Mark) Julius, Dennis Ray (Deena) Moon, David E (Brenda) Moon all of Derby, Cristine (Stan) Murray of Nixa, MO; grandchildren, Rachel (Bob) Buller, Aaron (Melissa) Julius, Evan Julius, Martha (Brady) Dreiling, Melisa Beauchamp, Matthew (Sarah) Moon, Marina Moon, Dennis Tyler (Tara-Lynn) Murray, Derek Murray, Emily Murray, Garrett Moon, Anna Moon; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Zachary, Allie, Aaron Jr Julius, Tanner, Kaitalyn, Tucker Noonan, Nikolas Beauchamp; siblings, Nancy (Truman) Patterson of Wichita, Hazel (Paul) Seal of Clearwater, Patricia (Kirt) Collins of Topeka, Jerry Moon of Buffalo Valley, OK, Terry (Janet) Moon of Maize, KS; many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association 608 W Douglas Ave Ste 100, Wichita.
