Dennis Arthur King

King, Dennis A., 70, died Saturday, September 18, 2010.

Memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville.

Dennis enjoyed working on old cars, was a member of the NRA and taught gun safety classes, and was a past member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents Burl and Theda King, a daughter, Dana Chavez and a “furry son” Andy King. Survived by his wife Peggy (Hoover) King; children Shane King, Kim Phillips, Danny Phillips, Bryan King, and Kristy Sanderson; 10-1/2 grandchildren, 3-1/2 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Cheryl Findeiss.
