Deloris Anderson

Anderson, Deloris “Marie,” 72, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at her home. Visitation Monday 1-8 p.m. at Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home, 219 W. 2nd, Belle Plaine, with family present 5-8. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church of Belle Plaine, 528 N. Merchant. Marie was a past member of St. Cecilia Parish, Cub Scout Den Mother, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Plaine. Marie was preceded in death by her first husband, Dwain Martens, and sister, Donna Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Larry “Joe” Anderson; sons Ricky (Carla) Martens, and Michael (Sheri) Martens, both of Haysville; step-children Teri (Michael) Newhouse, Kansas City, MO, Susan Murray, Chicago, IL, Brian (Heather) Anderson, Olathe, Chris (Tracy Oswell) Anderson, Edinburg, TX; 8 grandchildren, and one sister, Virginia “Jean” Ault. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas, 314 N. Washington, Wellington, KS 67152.
