Delores Jean Dosh, aged 68, passed away on the morning of March 15, 2026. She was born January 10, 1958. She was the daughter to Robert Eugene and Jane Lee Matney, sister to Gary Neil Matney.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene Matney. Delores is survived by her mother Jane Lee (Vaughn) Matney, her brother Gary Neil Matney, her husband Charles Ray Dosh, her son Christopher Ryan Dosh, and her daughter Delanie Janae (Dosh) Lincicome.
She grew up in Derby, Kansas where she graduated from Derby High School. She worked at Vulcan Chemicals as a production secretary for nineteen years. After leaving Vulcan, she worked as a cafeteria aide at Campus High School until she retired at the age of sixty-one.
She loved her father and The Father. She had a close relationship with the Lord. She loved quilting with her mom, scrapbooking with her friends, playing Yahtzee and word scrabble. She planted all kinds of flowers in her front and backyard with her daughter. She was a member of the Girl Scouts troupe. She was a breast cancer survivor, and a caregiver when her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She was always taking care of someone's baby's whether it were her cousins, her two nieces whom she loved dearly, or the neighbor's kids. She was born to be a mother, with a giving soul. May she be laid to rest, and wake in heaven, made anew, in a perfect body, with her Father.
