Debra Ann Margheim

Debra Ann Margheim, 68, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023. A visitation will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 28th, 2023 at 10:00 am; both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road, Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery, Derby.

Debra graduated from North High School in 1973, and continued her education at Wichita Area Vocational Technical School where she received her certificate in Dental Assisting. She then worked for Dr. Tonk Mills from 1974 to 1991 before becoming a stay at home mom to her children.

Once her children were grown, she returned to dental assisting for a couple years then finished her career working at Academy Sports and Outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Margheim; parents, Gene and Norma Fensky.

Debra is survived by her three children, Nicole Brundage (Kurt), Mollye Montford (Ryan), and Jacob Margheim (Christina); four grandchildren, Kaylyn, Henley, Maverick, and Rosalee; siblings, Denise Kemnitz (Garry) and Darrol Fensky. Multiple nephews, Kelly, Korey, Adam, Kameron and Dylan.
