Deborah K. Leiker, ran to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 4, 2017. She was born in Muskogee, OK on March 22, 1955. Deborah suffered many years with diabetes, kidney disease, amputations, and heart disease. A 31 year Boeing employee and manager, she also loved cooking, sewing, visiting shut-ins and caring for her husband, children, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marge Nell Smith; step-father, Claud Monroe Smith; biological father, Robert Lee Davis; and brother, Talmedge Davis. Deborah is survived by her husband of 43 years, Larry; sons, Matt and Ryan; sisters, Vicki (Don) Dicks and Cheryl (Clint Anderson) Smith; brother, Doug (Janet) Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Her love of children was evident as she continued teaching even after the loss of multiple limbs. Visitation: Friday, 4 to 6 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Funeral: 2 pm, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church of Derby, 324 N. Baltimore, Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery in Derby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Derby, Youth Ministries.
