Deborah Brodbeck

Deborah “Debbie” Brodbeck, 61, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016. She was born in November of 1954 to Robert and June (Rogers) Kruskop in Roswell, NM. Debbie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas. She retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs after more than 30 years of service. After her retirement, Debbie ran a farm outside of Lawrence, KS with her former husband, Chris Brodbeck. She was preceded in death by her parents. Debbie is survived by her son, Nick Menefee; and siblings, Karen (Alan) Selig, Robert “Buddy” Kruskop, Jr., and Robin Bruington. Memorial Service: 1 pm, Monday, October 3, 2016 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N.
