David Henry Novikoff, Sr

David H. Novikoff Sr., 67, retired machinist, was welcomed into Heaven Wednesday, September 2, 2015. There will be a visitation 12-2 p.m., Friday, September 4; funeral service to follow at 2:00, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, as well as a huge fan of Derby High School football. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Carrie Novikoff and his in-laws, Travis and Nella Turnage. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda; children Jeana (Aaron) Fulcher of Tennessee, David Henry Novikoff, Jr. of Wichita, and Mike Novikoff of Derby; grandchildren Rikki, Jessica, Austin, Ethan, Joey, Hudson, Justin, Hailey, Logan; great-grandchildren Kaden, Kynslee, Jaden, Jaxon; siblings Sue (Jack) Saunders, Leon Novikoff, Nancy (Steve) George, Mike (Lisa) Coverdale, Bob (Cheri) David; brothers-in-law Jerry (Pam) Turnage and Tim (Debbie) Turnage. He will remain deeply loved and never forgotten. A memorial has been established with Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67208.
