64, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017. He was born November 11, 1952 to Cecil and Ruby (Myers) Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Verne Smith, and sister, Patricia Smith. David is survived by his children, Shawn (Lindsay) Smith, Shirley (Joshua) Delaney, and Vicki George; siblings, Eileen Purk, Cecil "Junior" Smith, Dennis Smith, and Calvin Smith; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Wednesday, October 11, 2017, from 5 to 8 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Celebration of Life: 3:30 pm, Thursday, October 12, 2017 at The American Legion, Post 136, 410 SE Louis Dr., Mulvane, KS 67110.
