David L. Creamer, retired district manager with TCI and Multimedia Cablevision, Inc., passed away July 30, 2024. He was born October 28, 1949 to Clifton Daniel and Pauline Creamer in Garden City, Kansas.
He graduated from Southwestern Heights in Kismet-Plains, Kansas in 1967. He then attended Northwestern State University in Alva, Oklahoma, graduating in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts in speech with an emphasis in Radio and Television Production, and a second major in Biology with an emphasis in plant morphology.
He enjoyed fishing, having fished in Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico and most lakes in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. He followed K-State and Kansas City Chiefs football. He enjoyed watching Royals baseball. He loved woodworking, building furniture and birdhouses and working in his yard.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Vinita Creamer, Nancy Markham, and Clifton Dennis Creamer.
Survivors include his wife Cynthia, his older brother Robert Creamer (J.C.), his brother-in-law John Hohstadt (Tammy), his brother-in-law Mark Hohstadt (Susan), and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside family service will be held at the Mulvane Cemetery on August 3rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society.
