BELLE PLAINE – Burden, David L., age 61, passed away Tuesday, August 9th, 2011. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday, August 11, with family present 6-8pm, Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home, 219 W. 2nd, Belle Plaine. Funeral service 11am Friday, August 12, First Baptist Church, 612 N. Linden St., Belle Plaine. David was preceded in death by his father, Mervin Burden. He is survived by his mother, Maribel Burden; wife, Stephanie; children, Stacey (Stacey) Burden, Chad (Kim Madison) Douglas, Angie (Chad) Hayes and Brian (Brandi) Douglas; grandchildren, Courtney, Keyona, Brooke, Lauren, Taylor, Tyler, Rylee, Trapper, Chase and Shylee; sister, Carol Ann (Curtis) Rich.
