Darrell K. Kanaga

Kanaga, Darrell K., 93, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014. He was born May 23, 1921 to Edgar and Violet (Owens) Kanaga in Ness City, KS. Darrell was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Haysville. He worked as the Parts Manager for Bulger Cadillac-Oldsmobile and enjoyed gardening and riding his bicycle. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth Kanaga; and siblings, Velton Kanaga, Melvin Kanaga, Dorothy Smith, and Dudley Kanaga. Darrell is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Kanaga; sons, Darrell “J.R.” (Linda) Kanaga and Michael (Deb) Kanaga; grandsons, Dusty (Lisa) Kanaga, Mark (Vanessa) Kanaga; and Rocky Kanaga; great-grandson, Wesley Kanaga; and sister, Velma Freidenberger. Memorial service: 10 am, Monday, December 1, 2014 at First Baptist Church, 125 S. Delos, Haysville, KS 67060. Memorial contributions may be made to the church’s building fund.
