D. Wayne Barker, 71, of Douglass, passed from this life on Tuesday morning, December 7, 2021, in Wichita, KS.
Born December 17, 1950 in Winfield, he was the son of Gerld Wayne and Unavie Eunice (Rush) Barker.
He is survived by his wife, Chris (Gilmer) Barker; his children Jennifer Navrat, Matthew Wayne Barker, Jacqueline Mahlandt, Zachariah Barker, Amelia Barker; stepson Ashley J. O’Neil; brother Denny Barker; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by stepson Ryan O’Neil, and his sister Darla Kerns.
Committal services will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 13, 2021, in the Douglass Cemetery. A memorial has been established with the Douglass High School Athletic Department.
