Darlene R. “Darla” Costin, age 78, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Visitation 2-8pm Monday, September 23rd, 2013, with family present 6-8pm; funeral service 10am Tuesday, September 24th, 2013, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Darla is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Anderson and Marie Tullis; brother, Gayle Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Boyd Costin; children, Jeffery Costin of Wichita and Janet Costin of Peoria, IL; granddaughter, Anna Guest of Manhattan, KS. Memorial donations may be made to the Terry Kaylor Scholarship Fund c/o USD 396, 921 E. 1st St. Douglass, KS 67039.
