Darcie L. Norman, 42, Wichita Eagle Courier, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016. She was born May 10, 1974 in Wichita, KS to Larry and Doris (Doucette) Sparks. Darcie was a kind and loving person that enjoyed helping others and to that end, donated her organs to help save other people’s lives. She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, Richard Almire; and grandparents, Lillian Creedon and Drew Sparks. Darcie is survived by her mother, Doris Sparks-Almire; siblings, Robert (MaryAnn) Ewert, Steven (Kimberley) Ewert, Sheryl (Eddie) Brocklesby, and Michelle Ewert; aunts, Shirley (Gary) Stauffer and Brenda Decaire; 8 nieces, 7 nephews, and 5 great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation: Monday, 3 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm. Funeral: 1 pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2016; both at Smith Mortuary-Mulvane, 501 SE Louis Blvd., Mulvane, KS 67110.
