Daniel Joseph Fusselman

Daniel J. Fusselman, age 55, passed away on October 3, 2020 after a valiant two year battle with cancer.

He was born in Blackwell, OK and was the youngest child of Milton and Frances Fusselman. Daniel spent his early years in Blackwell and Ponca City, OK, and gradu- ated from Ponca City High School in 1983. He has worked at Crestview Country Club in Wichita, KS for the past 20 years.

Dan was well respected, and known to his family and friends as an avid fisherman and bow hunter, and enjoyed gardening. There wasn’t a lake, river, or creek that he could- n’t hook at least one fish. Family meant everything to Dan and he thoroughly enjoyed being a “Papa”. His dry sense of humor and youthful antics kept his family and friends laughing and uplifted. He had a deep faith and loved life.

Left to honor Dan are his 4 children: Toni (Bryson), TJ, Hannah (John) and Emma, grandchildren (Ava, Arron, Leighton, Ronan, Jensen, and Cole), seven brothers and sisters: Marie (Jim), Cecilia, Milton Jr. (Karen), Mark, Annie (Mike), Paul (Heather), and Elizabeth (Paul) and his “partner in crime” Kari. Dan was preceded in death by both of his parents, Milton and Frances Fusselman.
