Daniel Bruce Ellis

Ellis, Daniel Bruce, age 37, passed away January, 27, 2012. Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday, January 31, with family present 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Funeral service 10am Wednesday, February 1, at First Baptist Church, 1020 N. Second Ave., Mulvane, KS. Dan was born July 11, 1974 to Clarence J. and Kitty Lea Ellis in Wichita. He was a graduate of Campus High School and WSU. Dan was employed by the Mental Health Association in Wichita for 12 years. He loved swimming, boating, fishing and football, but his main interest was his wife Amy and son Danny. Amy and Dan were married September 13, 2003 in Mulvane. Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Kitty Lea Ellis. He is survived by his wife, Amy D. Ellis; son, Daniel Lee Ellis; father, Clarence J. Ellis; brother, Johnny Ellis; sister, Rhonda Lowden; nephew, Derek Lowden; father and mother in-law, Kent and Wanda Smith; sister and brother in-law, Annette and Daryl Smith; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
