Daniel O. "Danny" Bye, was born to Norman and Virginia Bye on June 12, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas. God called Danny home on September 11, 2024, in Wichita, KS on Patriot Day and Danny was a true patriot. Danny will be remembered by many for his compassion and kindness, his faith in Christ, his embracing hugs, and his unconditional love for his family. Danny knew how to love big. Danny spent his childhood in Wichita, Kansas, attending Wichita schools and graduated from Wichita High School North in 1971. After graduating high school Danny joined and proudly served nine years in the United Stated Navy on the USS Pintado (SSN 672) as a Leading Reactor Operator and Engineering Watch Supervisor. During his time as pastor Danny touched the lives of many and this is the job he was most proud of before retiring.
