Dale Holcomb

Derby – Dale Lee Holcomb, 80, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 11:24 p.m. after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Bristow, Oklahoma to Lee and Mildred Holcomb. Dale retired from Fahnestock and was a lifelong member of Wichita Homebuilders. Dale loved traveling, watching OU and Chiefs football, and playing dominoes with friends. Dale had a wonderful sense of humor and this helped him through his many years of illness.

Dale is survived by his wife, of 42 years, Sharon “Love of his Life”; his children, Steven (Jana) Holcomb, Jennifer (Shaun) Joy, Jill Wimmer, Todd Bonewell, Greg Bonewell, and Amy (Todd) Golay; grandchildren, five in Oklahoma and 11 in Kansas; nine great grandchildren, whom he loved greatly and enjoyed every visit.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road, Derby, Kansas, 67037.
