Derby - Kilian, Curtis Kendall
65, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was born October 24, 1959, to Kenneth and Gloria Kilian in Winfield, Kansas.
Curtis was a sports enthusiast, his favorite teams include the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and Kansas State. He loved watching his grandkids activities, and it was common to hear him yell “Not all fouls are bad.” Curtis was a business owner and Mayor of Glenpool, Oklahoma in the early 1997 and 1998. He retired in October 2024 as a traveling salesmen with Salina Supply.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and mother, Gloria.
Curtis is survived by his wife: Beverly; two children: Kelli (Kevin) Kurtz, son, Loren (Melissa); brother: Craig (Lori); grandchildren: Manning & Slade Kurtz, Kenneth, Jesse & Maris Kilian.
Rosary Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 6:00 pm. Visitation to follow until 8:00 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 am, Friday, February 28, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2300 E. Meadowlark Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
