Dean, Colette L., 79, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012. Visitation 2-8 Sunday, family present 6-8, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Monday, July 2, at St. Mary Faith Center, 2300 E. Meadowlark. Colette was preceded in death by sons John and Craig Dean and brother Gerald Theis. Survived by children Carol (John) Parsons, Christopher (Denise) Dean, and Jennifer Dean; siblings Vera Warwick, Lee Harbert, Marjorie Purn, Miriam Smith, Joseph Theis, Jr.; twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with St. Mary Building Fund, 2300 E. Meadowlark, Derby, KS 67037.
