Clyde Russell Morton

Clyde Russell Morton, age 87, of Udall, retired La Mesa/Spring Valley, CA, School District, Administrator and Educator, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Clyde was awarded the WHO Award in 1968, an award given by his fellow educators. No Visitation. Recitation of the Rosary 7 PM Monday, March 2, Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Tuesday, March 3, both at St. Michael Catholic Church, 545 E. Main, Mulvane, KS. Clyde is preceded in death by his wife, Lydia; parents, Earl & Iva Morton; brother, Oscar Morton; sister, Florence Stone; and granddaughter, Anne Shirck. Survivors include his sons, Mike (Sharon), Udall, KS, David, Cedar Rapids, IA; daughter, Margaret Schoonover (Mark), Udall, KS; sister, Cora Mettling, Udall, KS; grandchildren, Maggie and Colton Schoonover; great-grandchildren, Tyson Shirck and Xavier Schoonover.
