74, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born September 10, 1946 to Joe and Atha in Los Angeles, CA.

Ace was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying hunting, fishing, and shooting guns. He was a member of the Wellington Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters.

Ace is survived by his wife of almost 44 years, Sharon; children, Peggy (Terry) Rutter, Tammy (Christopher) Hummel, Cindy Dougherty; grandchildren, Justin (Ashley) Reynolds, Cody (Anne) Reynolds, Samantha (BJ) Linnebur, Alexander (Devon Ann) Hummel, Devin (Bailee) Hummel, Veena (Kash) Bolan, Ethan (Shannon) Rutter, Karen Dougherty, Susan Beyard; numerous great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and friends.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 6, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Thursday, January 7, 2021, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037. Graveside Service: 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery 1208 N College St Winfield, Kansas 67156.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wellington Free Will Baptist Church, 802 E 16th St, Wellington, KS 67152.
