Clarice Smith

Clarice M. Smith, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013, after a brief illness at 89 years young. Visitation 1-8pm Friday, August 9th, 2013, with family present 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary, Derby. Graveside service 1pm Saturday, August 10th, 2013 at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons, KS. Clarice is preceded in death by her parents, George and Serena Copeland; first husband, Merle Seibert; siblings, Nathan Copeland, Tessie McCall, Janice Hicks and Nola Dean. She is survived by her husband, Clem Smith; children, Carol (Larry) Schmidt of Stockton, CA, Barbara Smith of Wichita, Les (Cheryl) Seibert of Derby, Nancy (Daniel Carlson) Seibert of Benicia, CA, Linda (Alan) Dodson of Wichita, Bryan (Linda) Smith of Wichita and Jerry (Shirley) Smith of Wichita; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandsons; siblings, Evelyn Horn of Baldwin, KS, Kathleen Seward of Parsons, KS, Donald (Bert) Dean of Parsons, KS and Francis (Virgie) Copeland of Moline, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.
