Clarence William Sears

Clarence William "Bill" Sears, age 86, longtime Mulvane resident, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 21, 2015. Funeral Service 2 PM Tuesday, May 26, with visitation one hour before, at the Aviator Church, 200 W. Greenway, Derby. Bill loved immensely, spoke softly and lived each moment to its fullest. In life, his kind nature and exuberant spirit were a witness to all who knew him. He was a loving husband, nurturing father/grandfather and an avid fisherman. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Sears; his daughter Teresa Sears-Webb, her husband Terry Webb, of Hutchinson; his son, Rick Sears and wife Teresa, of Mulvane; daughter, Tam Sears, of Boston, MA; sister, Joyce Penney, of Grove, OK; as well as his 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Take Me Fishing, c/o Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, 500 Montgomery St., Suite 300, Alexandria, VA 22314. Smith Mortuary, Mulvane in charge of arrangements.
