Clarence William Mullen

Clarence William Mullen, age 89, retired USAF Chief Master Sargent, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Visitation 1-8 pm Wednesday, May 9 with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, funeral service 10 am Thursday, both at Smith Mortuary 1415 N. Rock Rd, Derby. Clarence is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; parents, Herman and May Mullen; brothers, Leonard and Raymond Mullen; and his granddaughter, Abby Hatfield. Survivors include his children, Sandra Patchin (John), of Lake Oswego, OR, Dennis Mullen, Mark Mullen (Kimberly), and Chuck Mullen (Debbie), all of Derby; sister, Alice Boese, of Bloomer, WI; grandchildren, ChristopherMullen Mathew Mullen, Andy Mullen (Samantha), and Angie Walsh; 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
