Clarence Van Fleet

Van Fleet, Clarence E., 83, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015. He was born September 26, 1931 to Daniel and Gladys Mae (Barnes) Van Fleet in El Dorado, KS. Clarence was an Army veteran and Boeing retiree. He was an avid outdoorsman and received 3 degrees from Wichita State University. Clarence loved using his building and woodworking abilities to benefit the churches that he was an active member at. He was preceded in death by his parents. Clarence is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlene Van Fleet; children, Cindy (Kirk) Church, Craig (DeElla) Van Fleet, and Chris (Michele) Van Fleet; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial service: 2 pm, Friday, May 8, 2015 at Rose Hill Bible Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Hill Bible Church Mission Fund, 1410 N. Main, Rose Hill, KS 67133.
